What is Hanukkah?
Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday that is celebrated for eight days. It is also known as the festival of rededication or the festival of lights. Hanukkah begins on the 25th day of Kislev, which is a Jewish month around November and December. Hanukkah is often thought of as the Jewish Christmas because of the similarity in the dates. Hanukkah is the most assimilated secular holiday on the Jewish calendar.
